I’ve been in this industry over a decade and facilitated over 8,000 Real Estate transactions! Many people have asked me how to become a Notary… and let me say it in case you didn’t know.

To become a Notary Public, you are commissioned through the Secretary of State where you live. Generally you have to be over 18 and a legal resident of that state. The process start to finish can be several weeks or more from when you apply. Your ability to notarize with your commission is usually given between a 4-10 year term.

With taking any of our 3 NSA Blueprint Courses, you get the “Blueprint” at the end. It tells you exactly which couple of specific credentials you need as a Notary Signing Agent to open up the MOST amount of doors for yourself, PLUS, you can actually use just ONE recommended company for becoming a Notary for your state, along with everything else needed!

By taking one of our Courses FIRST, you get ALL the information you need to properly setup your business, with where to get all the orders, watch live closings, and get real document sets. You’ll have proven strategies and systems in your hand.

THEN… you call our recommended company to get setup as a Notary and get the specific NSA background check, and insurance etc.

The reason that makes more sense is, if you get setup as a Notary first, you’ll have your stamp and commission, but won’t know where to get signings, or how to perform closings to succeed as a Notary Signing Agent. It just is a little backwards. Plus you would have to work with multiple companies, instead of just ONE to get this all taken care of. That is why it makes sense to follow the Blueprint. Course first, Notary second. However either order really does work, its just easier on you.

You don’t want to be one, you want to be a successful one!

Believe it or not… most states you don’t need training or even an exam!

Although in 47 states, you can go directly to your Secretary of State to become a Notary, I highly recommend our Course first, and following the Blueprint. This way you can make more money doing closings as a Loan Signing Agent.

You deserve to know how to turn your Notary Commission into a business! How? By notarizing loan signings and other documents on a regular basis as an independent contractor! This may be the opportunity you’ve been looking for to become your own boss once and for all!

As it varies from state to state there is not ONE specific path to become one, but they are all very similar!

In regards to how to become a Notary, you’ll need to meet your states qualifications and submit your application with the usual filing fee.

Only NINE states require training! Usually a couple hours.

Only Twelve states require an exam!

Thirty states and the District of Columbia states require a surety bond to protect the public and consumers from Notary errors.

So, what does it cost?

Because every state is different there is not an exact dollar amount, although it is said to range from less than a hundred dollars, to a couple hundred dollars when you factor in the states filing fee, if you need training, if you need an exam, and if you need a bond. Also don’t forget your Notary stamp!

And, if you choose, you can take my Blueprint Course at any time to fast track your career and help you make the most by working directly with Title Companies and Signing Service companies as a mobile Notary Signing Agent making $75-$175 per loan signing!
